This is a private, virtual tasting with proprietor and winemaker Steve Bell, who will draw on his 40 years of experience in the industry to guide you through 4 wines and a selection of foods meant to highlight and draw out the different flavors in each wine. It’s open to anyone and everyone -members, non-members, wine experts and novices. How do I purchase this awesome gift experience?
Step 1:
To keep it simple, we’ve created a bundled product called
“Virtual Wine Sensory Education & Tasting – Steve’s Selections,” which includes
4 bottles of wine:
2018 Chardonnay
2016 Estate Pinot Noir
2016 Campana Cuvée
2017 Forté Red Port – Style
Both include shipping, the wines and the personal experience with Steve!
Step 2: While we get your wines from the winery to your home, plan out your food pairings to accompany the tasting. Here are the items to have on hand:
2 slices of lemon
A couple of slices of sweet apple (Honeycrisp is best, not green)
A couple good sized pinches of salt
A few slices of medium sharp cheddar cheese
A good sized slice of Brie cheese (double or triple cream is best)
A good sized slice of Chevre goat or sheeps cheese
A few slices of dry-aged Asiago or Parmesan cheese, shredded will do.
A few chunks of good quality dark chocolate, 70% cocao.
Unseasoned (including unsalted) bread &/or crackers (bland)
A large glass of water
